The wreath laying ceremony on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide

On April 19, in Belgrade, on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the wreath laying ceremony in memoriam to the victims of the Armenian Genocide took place at the Armenian Khachkar (cross-stone) in Zemun Park, in front of the Church of Saint Archangels Michael and Gabriel.

The ceremony, which was attended by the Ambassadors of France and Cyprus to Serbia and Deputy Heads of Missions of USA, Russian Federation, Germany and Greece, the Ambassador of Serbia to Armenia Tatjana Panajotović Cvetković with spouse, the Chairman of the Serbia-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Aleksandar Čotrić, many Armenians from Serbia, Serbian friends of Armenia, was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Serbia and the Union of Armenians in Vrnjačka Banja.

Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian and the President of the Union of Armenians in Vrnjačka Banja Čedomir Artinović, representatives of Embassies and organizations laid wreaths and flowers on the Khachkar. The Ambassador Hovakimian addressed those present with a message dedicated to the council of the day.
